Our Services

Hands Raised

Academic Coaching

As students transition through middle school, and even through the start of high school, they may need some assistance with assisting with study skills, organization and even coping with the new found balance requirements of being in their secondary stage of learning. We assist students with those executive functioning, planning and balance between academics and extracurricular activities, so that their adjustment is minimal. This allows parents to enjoy the few hours at the end of the school/work day with their children, rather than having to manage these tasks.

College Planning

From taking the pathway of courses to completing the college application process, we have assisted thousands of students in navigating their way through the high school years with balance and focus. Making sure that there is a great resume at graduation is important, but how you spend the time balancing academics, service, extracurricular activities and creating opportunities to set yourself apart from fellow applicants takes monitoring, feedback and strategic support. We assist students with this process, and also assist with assistance with building their resume, working on their strength and interest building as they work through courses, and developing their list of schools that may be a great fit.

Applying to College

We support students with the college application process through our academic coaching and college planning services, so that when it is time to start the actual application completion during the summer before their senior year, they have a wealth of material for their resume and college essays. Our partnership throughout their school years provide a great trust and resource to take them through this step, the scholarship and financial aid process, and even support with what is needed for the big move to their university. There is a lot to know about this major transition for students, and we are excited to support families through it.

Campus Visits

The best way to know which campus is a best fit for students is to visit them. We have visited scores of universities so that we know what students are to expect. We are based in Texas, but we find that our students match schools all over the United States and some have determined that their best fit school was out of the country. Having a high school counseling background, hundreds of schools have been hosted by our coaches so that we build relationships with their admissions offices. This helps us to guide students to their best fit schools, as admissions officers give solid information about the programs that they are looking for each year.
